Chrissy has been involved in early childhood education from the beginning of her training in 1988...do the maths. Being awarded the Margaret Blackwell Scholarship in 2014 provided the opportunity to fulfil a career bucket list item or two, including attending a Reggio Emilia Study tour and visit to Pen Green in England, followed by a second study tour to Reggio Emilia in 2023.

Chrissy is the Founder and Director of LEAP Education Research and Consultancy, providing professional learning and development support to the early childhood community since 2015. Chrissy comes from a teaching and professional development background and brings many years of experience as a teacher leader in early education to her role. Chrissy advocates for the rights of children and parents to access education that supports their curiosity and values through wholehearted relationships, teaching and leadership.
